Director Sue Skaskiw attends Green MT College and speaks to attendees about a variety of animal related topics. Pictured is the model used as a learning tool and an alternative to dissecting a frog in the biology classroom. VVSA championed the legislation that resulted in the passage of a law requiring students be given the right learn the material without the use of a (dead) animal. Several classrooms in Vermont use
cats, piglets, frogs, sheep eyes, minks and worms that necessitates the killing of thousands of innocent animals yearly.
